I

I'm happy to announce that tickets are now on sale for a theatre event that I am performing in called "Jazz and the City: The New York Connection," at 'the cell theatre' on Friday, April 15th, 7:30pm.

Myself, with the incredible support of Tony Carfora on sax, Danny Weller on bass and Daniel Glass on drums, will be performing the tunes that carry with them the musical history of jazz in New York City, including music composed by New Yorkers–Gershwin, Arlen and Kern–songs performed by New Yorkers–Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker and Lena Horne–Broadway show tunes that became jazz classics–‘Night and Day,’ ‘S Wonderful’–and quintessential New York tunes such as ‘A Train.’ Producer, Charles R. Hale will be narrating the program,as part of the Artists Without Walls series, linking the songs, composers and performers with “New York City” stories.

Tickets for the event are $20 (plus a $1.69 service fee); however using the discount code...awow... tickets are $15. Here's the link for tickets and info:
